Your experience
Sailing in line with the Rhine
As you step onto our La Paloma cruiser in Koblenz, your 2-hour panorama sightseeing cruise begins. You'll sail a short distance down the Rhine, soaking in views of the Ehrenbreitstein fortress, a former castle that's surrounded by lush greenery, giving it a fairytale castle stature. See the famous "Deutsches Eck", a beautiful corner where the Rhine and Moselle rivers meet. Here, you will find a noteworthy statue of Kaiser Wilhelm I, who transformed the former, loosely joined North German Confederation into the German Empire. As you marvel at these sights, detailed explanations are provided via loudspeaker in both German and English, setting the historical and cultural context.
Turning down the Moselle and going upstream
Turning at the Moselle's mouth, the cruiser makes its way upstream on the Rhine towards Braubach, offering views of sprawling landscapes, dotted with resplendent castles, palaces, and fortresses. The sight of Marksburg Castle, Lahneck Castle, and Stolzenfels Castle adds an extra layer of historical richness to your journey. As the cruise progresses, you're enveloped by the romantic aura of the Rhine. The trip also shows you the Koblenz brewery, known for its expertise in crafting delicious beer.
