The Best Surf Lessons in Playa Samara!

Our director of surf, international professional surfer and coach, Jairo Zuñiga, is 1 of only 30 International Surf Association (ISA) certified instructors in the entire country of Costa Rica. Jairo hand picks all of our surf staff so you are sure to find positive, friendly, fun, knowledgeable, experienced, local professional instructors with us! You will be provided a long sleeve rash guard to protect you from the sun during your lesson, and then you'll begin your land lesson where you will learn about the area where you'll surf, your equipment, board control, safety, and how to paddle & pop up on your board! Once you've gotten the basics down and practiced on land, you head to the water with your instructor to practice what you've learned, and start riding waves!
