You'll get to visit your 20 traditional Alaskan Huskies in the dog yard. If that sounds a little too rambunctious for you, then we have the option to relax with a couple of older dogs in your Arctic Oven Tent. You may be able to help get a meal prepared for the dogs, or see how we spin dog hair into yarn to make clothing. You'll discover how people in the Arctic thrive, even in winter, living out of a wood stove heated tent. This visit will always come with stories from us about living in Alaska with good dogs!
From Fairbanks, head south on Highway 3, the Parks. Turn right onto Old Nenana Highway. Follow this 7.1 Miles. Turn right onto Old Ridge Trail. If you hit Deraco, YOU HAVE GONE TO FAR! On Old Ridge Trail, we are the 1st driveway on the left. You will see our Sluice Box Sled Dogs metal sign.
