You'll learn authentic techniques to make traditional sweets from a certified instructor. This activity is vegan and gluten free. You will also learn the etiquette to enjoy the tea ceremony.
e from Meguro Station of the JR Yamanote Line or the metro station. You will be greeted by the instructor who will start off with a short presentation on the traditional sweets and tea ceremony. You will then learn how to make the dough for nerikiri wagashi, then learn how to color and shape the dough into 3 seasonal motifs. There will be a photo taking session followed by tasting of what you have created. Class will finish off with a demonstration on how to conduct a tea ceremony. You will learn the etiquette on how to whisk your own bowl of matcha as well as how to drink it.
