’ll meet your friendly crew before boarding your comfortable modern eco vessel. After a short safety briefing, cruise along the scenic Richmond River before heading into Cape Byron Marine Park. Once offshore, our captain and onboard Marine Biologist will guide you to where whales are most active. During migration season, thousands of Humpback Whales travel along our coastline — often breaching, tail slapping and displaying playful behaviours. Listen to live whale song through our onboard hydrophone, learn fascinating insights, and take in panoramic views as you search for these majestic marine mammals. Keep an eye out for dolphins, seabirds and other local wildlife too! We offer a 100% sighting guarantee — if you don’t spot a whale, return again for free. Meeting Point: Lance Ferris Wharf, 12–24 Fawcett St, Ballina (in front of Wharf Bar & Restaurant) Please arrive 30 minutes prior to departure.
