Experience this unique and exhilarating hiking and climbing adventure to the summit of Whistler. “Via Ferrata” is an engineered vertical pathway with fixed cables for protection and metal rungs for easier climbing.
Challenge yourself to do this while you are in Whistler!
No climbing experience needed. Stunning views and a real sense of accomplishment await you at the top! Suitable for adults and teens with moderate fitness.
The group then hikes for 30-45 minutes across the base of the glacier. There is a small scrambling section before we clip into the safety cables and begin climbing up. Step and grab onto the rungs to climb up. At halfway up, we stop for water, snacks and photos. Then we continue climbing up the peak of Whistler Mountain.
**Notice the two different meeting locations depending on your tour time**
• 9:00am: Garbo's Cap Bar (opposite base of Whistler Village Gondola) • 1:30pm: MSAA Adventure Cabin (at top of Whistler Village Gondola)
