Walk Around Shimla And Visit Kufri

The centre of Shimla is a vehicle free zone so you can walk around the streets in a relaxed manner. Start the tour with a cup of local chai (tea) at a nearby shop. Then visit the heritage building of the imposing Viceregal Lodge that was the home of the British Viceroys in India. The Lodge now houses the Indian Institute of Advanced Studies.

The valley is surrounded by verdant hills in the backdrop of snow-capped mountains. You may even spot some yaks grazing in the valley.

It is situated about 12 miles from Shimla. The drive to Kufri takes an hour. In Kufri visit the Himalayan Zoo which is home to some rare antelopes, felines and birds. In winters Kufri is a popular skiing destination. Once your tour will be finished you will be driven back to fixed point / your hotel.
