Getting started

Your adventure begins with a transfer from Queenstown to the skydiving base. After check-in, meet your experienced tandem instructor for a comprehensive safety briefing and gear fitting. Then, board the aircraft and enjoy a scenic 15–20 minute flight over the Wakatipu Basin as you climb to your selected jump altitude.

What to expect

Board a scenic 15–20 minute flight to your chosen jump altitude and take in sweeping views of the Wakatipu Basin below. Then, securely harnessed to your Jumpmaster, experience an exhilarating freefall at speeds of up to 200km/h for 25 to 60 seconds, depending on the option selected. After the parachute deploys, enjoy a peaceful 4–5 minute canopy ride before landing back on the ground.
