Chukkar Walk The Landour ‘Chukkar’ or the infinity loop circles around the Cantonment station, virtually placing it on its own circular orbit above Mussoorie. The snowy peaks of mighty Himalayas summit out from the immediate hills. The loop starts at the intersection of the Kellog Church, built in 1903, as we walk past it towards the right we see the iconic Landour Language School. Numerous birds, butterflies and bees enthrall you as you approach the old Landour Cemetery and touch the high point at Lal Tibba. Crossing over to the other side one can witness the splendor of the Mussoorie valley and it’s the best place to gaze at the golden hues of sunset. You will end the loop at Char Dukkan, stopover and enjoy a hot cup of tea, while the flickering light on the far and near hills keep your company.
We will visit the Store. Paul Church which was built in 1840. Witnessed the great Himalayan Range of Garhwal from Lal tibba. Try some coffee at Landour Bake House one of the famous bakery at Sister . Guide will explain about History and Geography about the place.
