Climbing a mountain is something that everyone must do before dying, Nevado Mateo is ideal to start with this passion. The Peruvian Andes offer us endless possibilities, but only the Nevado Mateo offers us such a simple ascent and despite this it is more than 5,150 meters high and with a 360 view of the most beautiful mountains of the Cordillera Blanca , within the Huascarán National Park.
We will walk the first hour on an ascending dirt route. To then put on all the safety equipment in the mountains and begin the ascent, 1 hour and 30 minutes on average, to the top of Nevado Mateo.
With at least a day in advance, we will go through you so that you can try on the hiking boots, so we ensure that it is your measure and give you a short briefing.
