Guided tour of the Ortigia market and traditional cooking class

you will explore the stalls, perfumes and products of the territory.During the walk you will discover curiosities, typical ingredients, local traditions and small secrets of Sicilian cuisine, with tasting moments and stories related to the daily life of the Point of Sale. Afterwards, from 10:15 to 13:00, you will move to Teresa’s house, a cozy Villa in Arenella (15 minutes drive from the Point of Sale) where the most engaging part of the experience will begin: the cooking lesson. Transport can only be arranged if requested at the time of Reservation and costs €20 per person. At Teresa’s house you will cook together three traditional Sicilian recipes, in a familiar and relaxed atmosphere, using fresh and seasonal ingredients. The lesson will be a moment of sharing the preparation of family recipes. If you are a family or group of more than 6 people, contact me before booking you will get a discount.
