rport in Ramechhap 5-6 hours drive from Kathmandu. We'll leave early to catch a 35-minute scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla (2,804 meters). Once in Lukla, your guide will introduce you to the porters who will help with your gear. We'll start our trek by descending to the Dudh Kosi River and then follow the main trail to Phakding (2,610 meters). The walk is easy, and we'll pass through the small village of Ghat (2,550 meters) before reaching Phakding.

Namche Bazaar is a bustling Sherpa town with plenty of places to eat, stay, shop, and exchange money. It's the largest Sherpa settlement on the Everest trail.
We'll hike to a museum that showcases the traditional customs of the Sherpa people. We'll also hike up to Syangboche Airport and the Everest View Hotel, one of the world's highest-located hotels. From here, we'll have incredible views of the Himalayas, including Mount Everest.
By the time we reach Tengboche, nestled at 3,860 meters, we'll be surrounded by breathtaking scenery. Tengboche Monastery boasts incredibly ornate wall hangings, a towering 20-foot Buddha sculpture, and a unique collection of musical instruments and robes used by the Lamas. Depending on our arrival time, we might witness a mesmerizing prayer ceremony in the morning or evening.
There, we'll cross another thrilling suspension bridge over the Imja Khola river. Our path continues upwards, leading us through a landscape dotted with thousands of mani stones (prayer stones) before reaching the charming Sherpa village of Pangboche. The trail then climbs steadily to Dingboche, a quaint village with breathtaking views of Lhotse, Island Peak, and Ama Dablam. We'll take our time on this ascent to ensure proper acclimatization to the increasing altitude.
We'll take a short hike to Nangkartshang Peak, located just above Dingboche. This peak offers incredible views, especially of the majestic Ama Dablam. If the weather is clear, you'll have the opportunity to see Ama Dablam from top to bottom. After the hike, you can spend the afternoon exploring the village or taking some rest.
Keep an eye out for memorials dedicated to climbers who lost their lives on nearby peaks. Be prepared for a steady climb as we approach Lobuche village, nestled at the foot of the towering Lobuche peak. Due to the increasing altitude, some trekkers might experience shortness of breath. Take it slow and listen to your body.
This is as close as you can get to Mount Everest without mountaineering gear. During the spring, you might witness expedition teams preparing for their summit attempt. The view of the Khumbu Icefall from Base Camp is absolutely breathtaking. After taking it all in, we'll return to Gorak Shep for the night.
Kala Patthar, a small peak at 5,555 meters. This is one of the most demanding days of the trek, but the reward is incredible. From the summit, you'll be greeted by a breathtaking panorama of the Himalayas, including Mount Everest, the highest point on Earth, and other towering giants like Nuptse, Pumori, Chagatse, Lhotse, and more. After enjoying the view, we'll make a quick descent to Gorak Shep for a warm breakfast. Then, we'll continue our trek down to Pheriche.
Our journey will take us through Pangboche and Tengboche, eventually leading us back to Namche Bazaar in the afternoon.
We'll return to Lukla, the starting point of our adventure. Let's take a moment to reflect on this incredible journey and celebrate our achievements together. The afternoon is yours to enjoy. You can explore Lukla, relax, or even treat yourself to a hot shower. In the evening, let's raise a glass to our successful trek and dance the night away with our new friends.
