Join us at Vallholt, nestled between Akureyri and Lake Mývatn in North Iceland, for an unforgettable dry land dog cart tour through our stunning landscapes. Experience the thrill of riding with our team of 8-12 Siberian Husky dogs, guided by an experienced Musher from Snow Dogs Iceland. Let the huskies lead the way on a 3-4 km trail in our remote Icelandic nature, embracing a bit of bumpy fun along the way. Learn the secrets of dog sledding and how to work with these incredible dogs in summer conditions from your knowledgeable Musher. The approximately 3-4 km trail takes 20-30 minutes, followed by an exclusive kennel visit where you can meet, greet, and cuddle our amazing dogs! Total visit time is approximately 1.5 hours. Snow Dogs is located in North Iceland about 460 km from Reykjavík. We are 80 km from Akureyri towards Lake Mývatn. Drive road nr. 1 and take our farm road 847, It will lead to our farm Vallholt. Parking is in front of the dog house.
