4 Days Toraja Cultural Tour from Makassar: Tongkonan Houses to Toraja Funerals

08.00 AM | Hotel/ port/ airport pick up (only in Makassar City area) Heading to Tana Toraja (about 8-9 hours drive). You will enjoy the beautiful rice field, fish pool and the Traditional Houses of Bugisnese along the way to Tana Toraja Lunch at local restaurant in Pare Pare

By bus/minivan to Tana Toraja, for 8-9 hours approximately, through several urban districts with natural views and typical Buginese-Makassarnese traditional houses which it's built on pole.

Stop at Pare-Pare for lunch. After lunch, the journey continues and a photo stop at "Ainun Habibie's True Love Monument".

In the afternoon/ by evening , arrive in Rantepao, the capital of North Toraja and check in at the hotel to stay and having dinner at a local restaurant. Free time

After breakfast at the hotel , Visiting several attractive objects, such as: LEMO, it's a noblemen stone grave on the cliff with several TAU-TAU (sculptures) on display.

After having lunch, visit KETE KESU Village, one of the villages that supported by UNESCO as a Cultural Heritage. Here, you could see the typical of Toraja House which is called "TONGKONAN".

After that, going to Rantepao for shopping at the one Gallery, dinner at local restaurant, back to the hotel, and having free time

Back to hotel, dinner Will be served at local Resto and having free time.

With the same route, stop by for coffee break at Bambapuang Cafe.

Lunch will be served at local restaurant in Pare Pare.

After lunch, then transfer to Sultan Hasanuddin Airport for the next flight.
