3 Days 2 Nights Siberut Jungle Trekking Mentawai Experience

Our journey will start from Pelabuhan Muaro, Padang, Indonesia at 07:00 am by fast ferry and Transit in Sikabaluan ( north part of Siberut ) 1 hours then Lunch will provide in local restaurant.

Arrival in muara Siberut, transit in govermnet village take some rest and coffe break, and continue to jungle by traditional motor canoe ( crossing scenic jungle river), when the moment we reach trek point Trekking to mentawai clan house

meet the mentawai shaman and family, and enjoy the feeling and moment NOTES: Arrival in Padang one day prior of the tour period (Wednesday)

In the morning, after breakfast, we will begin our activities with the Mentawai clan in the jungle. We will immerse ourselves in their traditional daily life, participating in activities such as planting sago trees, foraging for jungle food, and learning about natural medicine (herbs) used in the jungle. Additionally, the Mentawai shaman (flower man) will guide us in understanding the uniqueness of Mentawai culture and traditions. As we explore the remote jungle village, we will move to another clan family's house and meet our new Mentawai hosts. Here, we will take part in their daily activities, including making traditional clothing, processing sago as their staple food, hunting, fishing, hand-weaving with rattan, and even learning the intricate process of making traditional Mentawai poison.

Breakfast and farewell with your host family, and trekking back to the bank river and motor canoe will drive us back to government village and transfer at Mentawai local house.

Cleaning your stuff, coffee break and lunch and Leaving Siberut at 12:00 pm by fast ferry, estimate time arrival in Padang city 18:30 pm.
