Vesuvius & Vineyard select from Sorrento

Discover the dramatic landscape of Mount Vesuvius and the traditions of local winemaking on this well-balanced tour. You will travel by bus up to 1,000 metres on the volcano, then continue on foot to the crater. From the top, you can take in wide views across the Bay of Naples, so a camera is recommended.

The fertile volcanic soil of Vesuvius supports the production of Lacrima Christi, a wine with deep historical roots in the region. After you visit the crater, the tour continues at a local vineyard, where you will explore the winery and learn about the production process.

A light, locally inspired lunch with seasonal ingredients, including grilled vegetables, bruschetta, fritters, Sicilian-style pasta, and lemon cake. Drinks include local wine, mineral water, or a soft drink. The menu may vary with seasonal availability.
