Begin the adventure with a coffee as well as an explanation of what the day involves, before setting out to explore my forest with my truffle dogs, sisters Electra & Ghianda, who will be excited that we are going hunting. Along the way I will show you wild orchids, flowers & local wildlife. If we are quiet we may see deer and black squirrels. The dogs noses are 40 times more sensitive than ours and they will be searching & sniffing all the time. When they find a truffle they will dig it out and you will be able to smell its fresh aroma - a unique experience. The hunt normally lasts about an hour, where you can participate fully. Later we will collect some fresh eggs from the chicken house and make fresh handmade tagliatella. The truffle hunt experience includes: - Truffle hunt with my dogs - Lunch with a local appetiser - Fresh pasta prepared together with fresh truffles - Homemade dessert - Coffee - Bottle of local organic classic sparkling wine
