3 Day Okavango Delta

Mokoro, walking Safari

You will be picked up from your hotel or Maun Airport and transferred by motorboat or 4X4 vehicle to the Mokoro Station where you will be met by your professional guide or Poler. Take part in a short briefing about your trip and then begin your journey a mokoro.

You will travel along the channels of the Okavango Delta to spend some hours enjoying the beauty and vastness of the Delta. You will then settle in at your camp on one of the many Islands.

Upon arrival, the camp staff will have set up camp and your chef will have prepared lunch for you to enjoy before embarking on your afternoon bush walk or Mokoro excursion. Later in the evening, you will return to the camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

You will spend two nights exploring the wilderness both on your mokoro and on walks. Before each day's activities you will have breakfast. We will explore most of the Delta from the mokoro and search for game of interest on foot during your walking safaris.

After morning activity you will go back to the camp and your lunch will be ready. After lunch you will do an afternoon activity and choose between a walking safari and a mokoro excursion.

You will wake up early, enjoy breakfast and then depart on your last bush walk. You will return to camp where you will enjoy lunch while the staff breaks camp.

You will then travel back to the Mokoro station for your motorboat or 4X4 vehicle pick up to return to Maun. This is where your safari will end.
