Your Italian guide will introduce you to locals whose families have been preparing the foods you will sample for generations. There will be 8-10 stops along the way to taste authentic Lucchese specialties. Tour highlights include typical handmade fresh pasta from Lucca, wonderful hams and salami, rich tiramisu, delicious ice cream, sheep’s milk cheese from the hills surrounding Lucca, exquisite olive oil tasting and, of course, a selection of local wines. In addition, Paola, a born and bred Lucchese, will enthrall you with stories of food, family feuds, local intrigue and ghosts.
