Tile painting workshop in the Algarve

The activity’s location may vary depending on the artist's availability, but it will always be within the municipality of Silves. Traditional 17th-Century Portuguese Tile Painting Workshop The workshop begins with a demonstration and explanation of the traditional techniques. Afterwards, with the artist’s guidance, you will paint your own tiles. We suggest starting with a classic design to grasp the technique, followed by creating an original design of your choice. Please note that the artwork created by participants will not be ready at the end of the experience, as the tiles need to be fired in a high-temperature kiln. The pieces will be ready up to three days after the workshop, and collection will be arranged. Shipping of the tiles is not included.
