This workshop is designed for those who are interested in hands on learning who want to improve or reflect their photography skills with the guidance of a professional photographer.
Those attending will also get to have a unique exclusive experience in a traditional Greek house in the historical neighbourhood of Plaka resulting in an memorable portrait to reflect their experience in Athens.

By the end of the workshop those who have taken part will have an extraordinary portrait to take home, as well as a technical understanding of how to recreate it in their own time. Inspired by Carravagio the workshop goes into learning the technical aspects of using one light source to recreate the divine lighting often used in Baroque painting. The workshop starts with choosing from a carefully curated selection of items ranging from antique jugs, locally grown olives, traditional tableware and carefully sourced wine. Whilst also getting into a technical deconstruction of what you need to know to achieve such an image. Finishing with appetizers and drinks, the participants are given time to enjoy the relaxing traditional space, ask questions and discuss the process. Designed for amateur and beginner photographers, each participant is also given a copy of our own Portrait Project Guide to Photography to assist them at any time later on with their own photography.
