Private Coastal History, Dunnottar Castle and Distillery Tour

Aberdeenshire has many treasures to offer.

On this tour we bring together one of Scotland's most iconic castles, Dunnottar, Scotland's Crown Jewels (which were the reason for it being put under siege), the ancient church where they were hidden and some fine whisky and lunch.

A suggested itinerary depending on hotel location: Old Aberdeen (Fascinating medieval history ) then the iconic Dunnottar Castle which has a wealth of history and is perched on an impregnable rocky headland. We then travel south to Kinneff Old Church where the “Scotland’s Honours” (Scotland's Crown Jewels) were hidden in 1651 after being smuggled out of Dunnottar Castle.
