The land is characterized by rugged terrains dominated by dramatic hills with acacia and Doum palm trees along the Ewaso Nyiro river, the lifeline of this beautiful arid lands and home to fantastic bird life and rare species of animals including Somali Ostrich, Besia Oryx, Gerenuk, gravy zebra, Reticulated Giraffe and Greater Kudu. The reserve is a good place to watch elephants and the big Cats. Arrive in time for lunch followed by afternoon game drive.

National Park which is a leading sanctuary for endangered white rhino. Other wildlife found here includes lions, leopards, zebra, gazelles, eland, giraffe and the hyrax.

Drive from Lake Nakuru to Narok town where you have lunch and on to Masai Mara arriving for an afternoon game drive till 6:30 PM

You will have picnic lunches in the Reserve as you scale the Mara beauty sited at the banks of Mara river. Optional: In the evening, Visit the Maasai village for a Maasai cultural tour at USD 20. Learn about the Masai community and interact with the local Maasai people. A overnight at the Masai village can be organized upon request. A balloon safari at USD450 per person can be organized early morning on this day then proceed with the normal program. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place: the great migration.

After breakfast, depart from Masai Mara and start your journey back to Nairobi [lunch en route], arriving midafternoon, time for transfer to Jomo Kenyatta Airport
