What You’ll Learn Over the course of this short, focused class, we’ll guide you through the essential skills you need to get started with confidence. You’ll learn: How to thread a sewing machine correctly Winding a bobbin and understanding its function How to change a needle Getting to know the parts and settings of a sewing machine Practising a range of basic stitches How to troubleshoot common beginner issues (like tangled thread or skipped stitches) Using different types of fabric Safe use of sewing tools By the end of the session, you’ll have completed several small but satisfying sewing projects to take home – useful and lovely pieces that you’ll feel proud of. More importantly, you’ll leave with the confidence to continue practising at home.
