On this tour, we are offering you to learn and discover the old traditions of Croatia. Your guide will take you to the Dubrovnik surroundings. In this small area, it is possible to see into the pace of history and experience the spirit of the civilizations that have left traces in our area since prehistoric times, through the Roman period, the Middle Ages, the time of the Dubrovnik Republic, up to more recent history.
Your guide will pick you up from your hotel or cruise ship and you will have a panoramic drive to Cavtat. You will have some time to have a snack and drink a coffee.
After the Cavtat sightseeing tour, you will have a drive to Konavle where you will have a stop at a 17th-century mill Ljuta with a welcome drink, snack and wine tasting.
In the end, you will be driven back to any place in Dubrovnik you prefer.
It’s known for its beaches, and the many ancient Illyrian necropolises dotted around the area. Near the tree-lined Cavtat harbor is the Rector’s Palace, a Renaissance mansion that displays the manuscript collection of 19th-century scientist Baltazar Bogišić. Near the harbor, the baroque St. Nicholas Church displays some notable artwork.
It is administratively part of the Dubrovnik-Neretva County and the center of the municipality is Cavtat.
