Join us in revealing the story of Cluj. We'll walk through the historical part of town, reading the architecture and animating it with the lives of people past and present. We shall move across the town chronologically, exploring how new layers were added on top of old ones. Visual material will be used to make everything clear since a picture is worth a thousand words. We'll also include a place with a view, to admire the beautiful cityscape.

This Catholic cathedral is the second largest in Transylvania. It’s the most representative landmark of the city and it’s situated in the old town in the center of Cluj. The inside of the church is also designed in a Gothic style bringing you back to the 14th century. You can also admire beautiful medieval frescoes inside the cathedral.

A Gothic-style building, the palace belonged to the noble Banffy family and nowadays it hosts an art gallery inside the edifice’s walls. In time, the building had many functions: from a protocol residence, a nationally-known casino, an apartment building, establishment for industrial companies to a cinema.
