Our Hang Gliding Tandem Flights are towed up into the sky a specially designed ultralight airplane - and your certified instructor will be right next to you the entire time. Once in the sky the world goes quiet and it is just you and the birds, there is literally no other experience like flying a hang glider! Enjoy a bird’s-eye view of beautiful Lookout Mountain and the surrounding valleys. We've taken guests on unforgettable experiences who are well into their 90s and can accommodate paraplegic and other special needs passengers. Due to Equipment Limitations, the weight limit is 250 lbs. Must be 14 years or older. WHAT TO WEAR The temperature at 1,500 or 3,000 feet during your flight will feel like you are driving with the windows down on the interstate, so dress comfortably for the day's temperature. We recommend athletic clothing that is comfortable (no skirts/dresses) and shoes with backs on them (no flip-flops). We, also, recommend bringing secure-fitting sunglasses, but we also have safety glasses available for you to use.
