These drawings can be seen by the air, and they are located 280 miles south of the city of Lima. They were first seeing in 1547, and in 1929, the Peruvian archeologist Julio C. Tello started to investigate them. Furthermore, they were declared as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1994.
