We encourage you to wake up early, enjoy breakfast, and head to the bus station to catch one of the first buses (from 5:30 am, first come first serve). The ride takes about 30 minutes. Upon arrival, we’ll guide you to the best viewpoint for a panoramic view and sunrise (weather permitting and depending on availability). You’ll have a 2-hour guided tour. If you any Mountain tickets (USD75 USD), your guide will show you where to begin the hike, please book at least two months in advance. After exploring, take the bus back to Aguas Calientes, then you will take the afternoon or evening train to Ollantaytambo and the transportation back to your hotel in Cusco.
Take a 25 minutes bus to Machu Picchu. As soon as you arrive to the complex you will then have a 2 hour guided tour through your designated circuit in Machu. Please make sure to book this trip at least 3 months in advance of your visit, as tickets do sell out fast. Once you are done with your tour you will take a bus down to Aguas Calientes. Then we will take an afternoon or evening train back to Ollantaytambo and from there we will take you back to your hotel in Cusco. LEGAL NOTICE: Machu Picchu online tickets often sell out months ahead. The Cultural Office in Aguas Calientes releases a limited number for in-person purchase only. August, and most of September 2025 are already sold out for online reservations. If online tickets are sold out, arrive early the day before with your passport to buy in person. In busy times, you may need 2–3 extra nights in Aguas Calientes.
