Come with us and get to know the most authentic, less touristy side of Lima during this half-day walking tour of the city's Chorrillos and Barranco neighborhoods. Enjoy visiting a real "fish town¨, a section of Chorillos that is home to a fish market and a cast of local fishermen, before heading to the nearby local market to sample some local peruvian dishes like Ceviche, Causa, Arroz con Mariscos(sea food paella), exotic peruvian fruits, snacks and more. Continue to the increasingly trendy Barranco area to admire colorful mansions and modern art galleries.
There we will appreciate different kind of fish species from our coast and interact with the local fishermen. Then, we will walk by the dock in order to get the most stunning pictures of the area.
There will taste the most exotic fruits of the three different natural regions of our country. Here we will visit a local market where you could taste the flavours from the traditional street peruvian food: coast, andean and amazonian peruvian part. Getting to know all the history behind each flavour. Yummy!
we will be able to see the colours of Lima . See the famous 'Bajada de los Baños' walkway, the romantic 'Bridge of sighs' and enjoy a visit of one of the various local galleries which Barranco is famous for.
Pickup and drop-off to your Hotel or Apartment are included ONLY from the following Lima's districts: Miraflores, Barranco, San Isidro, Downtown Lima (historical center), Chorrillos, Surquillo, San Borja, Santiago de Surco, Pueblo Libre, Jesus Maria, Magdalena del Mar, San Miguel, Rímac, Breña and Lince.
If you are staying at another district or want to be picked up from the Airport of Lima or from Callao Port (Cruises), to go on tour with us, then a small fee has to be paid for the transportation (private transfer) due to distance.
