Dominating the city from a massive rock, Trenčín Castle is one of the most spectacular medieval fortresses in Slovakia. We will explore its mighty towers, see the famous 2,000-year-old Roman inscription left by Emperor Marcus Aurelius's legions, and discover the romantic "Well of Love," carved into solid rock by a Turkish prince to save his beloved Fatima.
