Douz Sunset & Sunrise Camel Trek – Overnight Desert Camp

Leave the noise of Douz behind and let a camel carry you into the silence of the Sahara, just as generations of nomads have done before you. In the late afternoon, mount your camel for a 2 hour sunset trek across the dunes, arriving at a private, traditional camp just as the sky turns gold.

Watch locals bake bread the traditional way, buried in hot sand, then share a multi course Berber dinner around an open campfire. As night deepens, live folklore music carries you into a sky free of city light, just stars all the way to the horizon. Sleep in an authentic tent among the dunes.

At dawn, climb back onto your camel for a second 2 hour trek, watching the Sahara wake up in the sunrise light before heading back to Douz. Round trip transfer from our agency, experienced guides and camel drivers, and all meals are included throughout.
