In this 2-hour interactive experience, you’ll explore 5,000 years of cacao history, from ancient Maya traditions to the era of the Conquistadors and the industrial revolution. You’ll create your own chocolates from start to finish, using more than a dozen different toppings and flavorings to customize each piece exactly the way you like it. At the end, you’ll mold your chocolates, let them set, and take your handmade creations home as delicious, edible souvenirs of your time in Cusco. Throughout the session, you’ll also learn about the origins of chocolate, the importance of cacao in ancient civilizations, and how it evolved into the treat enjoyed around the world today.
