Take inspiration from Japanese nature to create your own unique ceramic artwork. Using a hand wheel, each participant will create a piece of pottery. Please spend ample time with clay in a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere. Your work will be completed to you in about a month. hours learning hand-building pottery with ceramic artist Aya Ogawa. English instruction included — no Japanese required. During the session, you'll shape 2–3 pieces by hand — bowls, cups, or small dishes. After the workshop, Aya handles all the finishing work: trimming, glazing (choose from blue, white, or grey), and kiln firing. One piece is included in the price; additional pieces can be fired for an extra fee. Your finished ceramic is ready in about 6 weeks and can be shipped anywhere in the world.
