Don't you love authentic beautiful Japanese cuisine ' Washoku '? Washoku was added to the UNESCO Heritage list. You can learn about Washoku from Yuki who is an experienced decorative sushi roll instructor. She has appeared on TV many times because she is popular. In 2024, Portland, Oregon, USA and Sapporo Hokkaido celebrated the 65th anniversary of their sister city partnership. The welcoming celebration was held at a hotel in Sapporo, where she demonstrated and served Decorative sushi rolls to the mayors of both cities.

We welcome international guests to our Sushi Roll Preparation School in Sapporo. At our hands-on workshop you will learn how to cook decorative sushi rolls. When you return to your home country why not impress your friends? We promise that your visit to our workshop will be one of the best memories of your trip to Japan.

At our hands-on workshop you will learn how to cook decorative sushi rolls
You can take away your sushi rolls after the class. You will get English instruction and ingredients, apron rental free, and recipes in English in your class. If you have any special dietary concerns ( food allergies, Vegan and Vegetarian etc.) please inform us in advance. If you would like to discover Japanese cuisine much more, add exciting options below. Yuki and Yui would offer them. You will learn how to decorate Bento ( lunch box ) in a traditional Shokado style. And enjoy your own Bento after the class. --- Options --- ● Hokkaido branded beef ( Biratori Wagyu, Shiraoi Gyu, etc.) ● Rice ball (and steam rice ) ● 3 other dishes and miso soup ● 2 other dishes and miso soup ● 1 other dish and miso soup - Miso soup ~ at first how to make Dashi ( soup stock ) and then to make soup with homemade miso. - Steam rice( if required ) ~ how to prepare steam rice without using a rice cooker.

We have 3 teachers. Satomi and Yui learned this artistic sushi rolling technique from Yuki. We are all professional sushi rolling instructors. Prices vary depending on the teacher. You're lucky if there's a discount!

If you book Yuki's class, the meeting place is the bus stop【 Ishiyamahigashi 7 chome 】. (There is a parking space on her property, so you are welcome to come by car also.)

If you book Satomi's class at the cafe, please take a street car to come there. The nearest station is 【Nishisen 9jyo asahiyama koendori】. Satomi would pick you up this station if you require. The cafe's name is "Piano Piano cafe & studio".

If you book Yui's class or SNACK experience, come to the convenient Susukino area. They are held in 【New Bimatu building】, a 3-minutes walk from Susukino subway station. The meeting point is the entrance of the building.
