In this tour, we’ll uncover something truly local, authentic, and unique: The Secret Marrakech! We’ll begin our walking tour from the iconic Jemaa El Fna square, then weave through the narrow streets of the Medina, heading toward the historic Jewish Quarter (Mellah). There, we'll visit a 15th-century synagogue and explore the largest Jewish cemetery in Morocco. Next, we'll stop at a traditional public oven (Ferran) to witness how Moroccan bread is baked using centuries-old methods passed down through generations. We’ll then wander through the colorful and vibrant souks of Marrakech, where you’ll encounter working artisan shops—leather crafters, blacksmiths, wool dyers, and many other hidden gems that most visitors miss. We will Meet at the heart of the medina (ancient city of Marrakech), then we will explore the streets and spots where locals eat . You will have a break from the "Couscous" and the "Tagines" that are offered in every touristic spot. We will start with some Moroccan soup called Harira (only available in the evening tour) and some pancakes. Followed by what we call "Maqla with kefta", it is tomato sauce based with eggs and meatballs (vegetarian version is available). After that we can try some small portion of a steamed sheep head (also only available in the evening tour), and then have some skewers. We will then end it with dessert which would be typically a smoothie and some Moroccan pastries. PS: Those are the basic stops but there are usually couple more, and more stops could be added depending on your liking, and on availability. Optional Stop: You can discover more about how Moroccans use local spices and herbs in daily life, an authentic moment to ask questions to the experts.

We walk trough dunes and on a lonesome beautiful beach till we reach a little cascade (which is in summer times dry, due to the drought Morocco is facing) and visit the old Marabout close by (residence for the spirit of a Saint or wise man). Here, the convergence of a large sand dune, a small river, and an imposing rock splendidly frames a lovely bay. We are invited to a local family for a traditional Berber tea ceremony at the end of the walk. There is the option to have a donkey with a guide on the walk (supplement), which is fun for kids to ride.
