How SimilarTours earns money - and how that affects what you see on this site.
The short version
SimilarTours is a tours-and-activities comparison platform. We do not process bookings ourselves. When you click a tour on SimilarTours and decide to book, you complete the booking on our partner's website. If that booking results in a sale, our partner pays SimilarTours a commission.
You do not pay more by booking through SimilarTours. The price you see is the same price you would pay on the partner's site directly.
Which partners we earn from
We currently earn affiliate commission from Viator (a Tripadvisor company). We will add more partners over time and update this page when we do.
How this affects what you see
Our editorial team is independent of the commercial relationship. Specifically:
- We rank and display tours by traveler ratings, review counts, price, availability, and other neutral signals - not by which partner pays the highest commission.
- Our blog articles describe and compare products from the live catalogs of our partners. We do not write about products we cannot route a booking to.
- We do not rewrite or paraphrase partner-supplied product descriptions. We describe products from their structured fields (title, duration, what's included, traveler rating).
Where you'll see disclosures
Affiliate-link disclosures appear at the top of every blog article that contains affiliate links, in the footer of every page, and on this dedicated page. If you ever encounter affiliate content on SimilarTours that is not clearly disclosed, please email us at the address on our contact page - we'll fix it.
